XMENTAL UNIVERSITY and my fight with Cancer Fundraiser

XMENATL UNIVERSITY aka "XU"

A venue where the elements of hip hop will be taught, learned and celebrated. A place where the children of the new school and the old school will flourish and learn the true meaning of Hip Hop. A place where all artists will be able to showcase their work at a fraction of the cost that a so called main stream gallery would charge. We are in need of funds to make "XU" operational. With the help of the Hip Hop and Arts community we shall complete the dream and move forward so we can change lives. We are $10,000 short of going operational. Fund raisers are being put together and help is needed in every way. Please come out and support the cause, while having a great time.

Peter Caballero....

My story officially began on May 13, 2010 - I was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer. The Doctors told me because I have Thyroid Cancer that I have a "good cancer." I never knew there was a better type of cancer to have.

They said it is very treatable so it's the best to have. I was lucky, my doctor said, and soon I would realize it was a common practice to tell Thyroid Cancer patients that we had the “best cancer there is.” As if getting cancer was something on my bucket list.

Support is undeniably important.

It’s tough to describe what you're going through to people.

And sometimes when you talk about cancer, it makes those close to you uncomfortable. Every day is a blessing. I find that I no longer get wrapped up in all the small, trivial things that so often people do. I enjoy the little things so much more - from a beautiful sunset, to a fun weekend with family, to a nice cold beer with friends.

Hope to see EVERYONE THERE and Support Two WONDERFUL CAUSES
