January 14th, 2010. "SOLO art show" at Fresthetics Brooklyn

Since my first exposure to painting with a brush during the first years of 1994, and currently developing my voice and style, (what ever that style is, cuz I still don't know), until present; I was given the opportunity to share those art works with you on January 14th 2010. Currently I have so much art work, that this particular showing is a mini of the "great ones" in which I have placed my heart and energy to convey a story or an idea on canvas; they are also random in the colors, size and theme, and thus this show is called "LAYERED".

This showing is still developing until the day of the showing. I am planning on selling some M-Squared Art T-shirts, and some prints at an affordable rate. The proceeds goes to the editing of an art project/ film that I am constructing called: "The Artist Process", as well I am hoping to have a stationed TV where I can show a trailer that was created by Tasty Keish, who documented the Documentary of the lives of the artists and unity of all forms on September 20th 2009, (held at 5 Pointz, Queens New York: 5 Pointz.com) . Swing by to witness the short clip and the many people that has influenced me along my colorful yet difficult path of art. You will hear more soon as the days passes, where an official flier and more details will be reviled for you all to know. I am excited and cant wait to show and share my work with you all. I want to also give a warm and grateful shout out to Mike from Fresthetics, who presented to me this opportunity.

Pieces of You, Pieces of Me, ART SHOW TOMORROW Friday October 23 @ 6pm

Pieces of You, Pieces of Me: Collaborative Mixed-Media Installations features seven AMAZING artists (and a baby)!

Opening reception is tomorrow, Friday, October 23rd from 6 to 9pm to the BROOKLYN ARTILLERY arts fair at Castle Braid, 114 Troutman St., Brooklyn, Space 30A and support great art and enjoy free drinks.

Exhibition is on view until October 30th, and can be viewed Saturday, October 24th and Sunday, October 25th from noon to 8pm and by appointment during the week.

I had fun.... and so did my brothers, as we started getting real busy on this real big mural that we starting working collectively together for this Friday show. We were a bit taken by the size of the wall, but the enthusiasm feeling dissipated as we realigned our creative thoughts onto the wall. My son was with us, and added his skills to the wall too. In one day bother my brothers and I created the bulk of the mural, then today being Thursday, once again I had to finish the job along side my extra energetic son, who was mostly playing out side on the mini lawn accompanied by Coren the curator of this great orchestra of visual artists. This complex has otter artist who art work are on the walls too. Please swing by and check out the art in Brooklyn and help raise the appreciation for the arts and its growing need in our society.

A friend of a friend of a friend.... show interest of establishing a very short notice to have an artist install art onto a large wall, 25 feet by 8.5 feet for a Friday show. This is exciting!

A duplex apartment (two story) in Castle Braid exhibition that would open THIS FRIDAY and close on October 30th. The GADSON GALLERY in Harlem: Showing my art on Saturday and Sunday, from 12pm-6pm and selling LIMTED EDITION M2 T-shirts

Was Very fortunate to have been invited to participate in an artist open studio tour for the public to see... Especially from around one of my old neighborhood... HOW CRAZY IS THAT!!! Not so far from there was my old YWCA that was then converted into a shelter, now no more. After some time passed, and after I was located to Brooklyn, and also returning back to my stomping grounds; I must say I am very thrilled! Never saw the possibility of GIVING BACK to my community in a way that is so genuine and awesome as this great tour. SAC is a week end tour of artist homes, studios and art galleries in an area of Harlem we have affectionatly named the Strivers Row Corridor. This area reaches from 130th Street to 145th street and from Lenox ave to St Nicholas Ave. The SAC tour runs concurrent with the larger HOAST (Harlem Open Artist Studio Tour) hoast.org . SAC is free to the public and tour goers will receive spacial discounts to various near by eateries during the tour weekend. Re Cap: Younity FRESHER art group show... eco female friendly

So dope so fresh, the night filled with many cool people and admires of the arts. I was pretty glad to have witness so many amazing people who came together to celebrate awareness via the art and its discussion of how the artist interprets the world around us. I was also very privileged to have been asked to discuss my art to a TV show that featured legendary Graffiti writer who was hosting the program, stay tuned for the film, ( not sure where its gonna be aired, but.. hey, it was fun chatting it up)... My other friend ROCKAFELLA, famous b girl, posed with me and also got down and dirty on the dance floor too... how cool was that!

We have given out 40 Dolls of Lisbon to artists in and around NY for the artists to use to create their own awesome art. The deadline for returning the finished Dolls of Lisbon was the end of August. At the request of some of the artists, we extended that deadline by a little bit – but now time is running out!

On October 17, as part of the larger Antagonist Artists Group Show at the Mindy Wyatt Gallery, we will be showing some of the completed Dolls of Lisbon. This will be a preview of our upcoming overseas show in Lisbon plus, once we have all the dolls turned in, we will try to do a full show here in NYC after May 2010.

Two of the dolls shown in these photos are from our artists in Baltimore. Not only did they finish all their artwork, but they also shipped them back to us by mail.

East of Eighth Restaurant & Bar, which is located on 254 West 23rd Street, New York, NY 10011 will have some of my newest art works in displayed on the upper lever of it sophisticated Restaurant.

Amongst the newest art works, that I have created this year and previous one; I will also be showing some of my very best and never seen by the public works of art.
