I am glad to see the amount of people that are in this special program. I am so thrilled to see that this program was developed to help those that cant help themselves, those children that need them. With the help of Laurie Markiewics and Peter Pegan, they with their friends were able to develop this program to raise awareness their the kind act of art.
I know Laurie personally, and I know she is an amazing woman, one that cares a lot of others and has shown also a tremendous courage to keep on fighting for betterment of the health of her son Jack, and countless others who like Jack suffers from AUTISM.
Please join me, and all the people that Love life, and fight for peace, in this unique experience. I will be grateful to you.
Love you all

Across The Board: Artists For Autism Awareness
On Saturday, August 28, 2010, the Soapstone Gallery in midtown NYC will host over 30 artists transforming raw skateboards into one of a kind works of art. All pieces will be on sale with a portion of each sale donated to Autism Speaks.
Across the Board: Artists For Autism Awareness at Soapstone Gallery NYC: Organized and conceptualized by Laurie Markiewicz and Peter Pabón, both Laurie and Peter have a common love for skateboarding, art and most of all their children Jack and Loana. Jack and Loana were both diagnosed with PDD-NOS(a non-specified type of autism) in their early preschool years. It has been Laurie and Peter’s mission to raise autism awareness and advocate for more programs and services for families within the NYC autism community. “Across The Board” is one way of achieving their goal.
Featuring artists such as Miguel Paredes, Mare 139, BlusterOne, TooFly, Alice Mizrachi, Gigi Bio, MERES, Marthalicia, Lichiban, 2ESAE, and Damion Silver, veteran as well as emerging artists give voice not only to autism awareness, but to relevant community issues. “Across The Board” is an open discussion, but a dialogue that is ultimately designed to create a greater urgency about Autism.
In keeping with that mission, premiering at the event is “The Across The Board Project” a short documentary filmed and edited by participants from VONYʼs (Voices Of New York) “Dare To Dream Project” youth program. Featuring autistic children, participants from VONYʼs (Voices Of New York) “Kids Dream In Color” youth program with teaching artist Lichiban, artist mentor Marthalicia, neo-soul singer Bilal, and art therapist Lina Meza-Morillo. The Across the Board project is a workshop produced and organized by Laurie Markiewicz (Across The Board) and Suzanna Ali-Oliver (VONY Executive Director) offering children on the spectrum a chance to partner up with VONY kids to design and paint their own skateboards to premier at the “Across The Board” event.

ALL THANKS TO DR WILLIAMS FOR THE GREAT DEED HE HAVE DONE FOR MY DAUGHTER?
My daughter suffered from autism for more than 2 years which we started experiencing in her when she turned 1 year and 5 months we all thought it will end but got even worse as days went by. We tried all several treatments and therapy prescribed by various doctors we met but to no avail, she lost total concentration and always complain of sensitivity to sound . She usually tells me she haves poor eyes contact. This were steady disorder that disrupted her entire life, even at night she slept less because of this.It was during a casual conversation with a friend that i learned about Dr Williams herbal medicine I was able to contact him on his email address. and give him all the necessary information that he needed, few day later he sent me the herbal portion and his medicine was able to restore her back to normal and she is very okay now without any side effects whatsoever. If you have autism, do not hesitate to contact him on drwilliams098675@gmail.com for advice and for his product. I hope this also helps someone out there
